Asset Management & Procurement Team:


Existing properties (agency owned and managed) and ALL Low Income Housing Tax Credit (“LIHTC”) projects are the focus of the Asset Management Department.  Our goal is to ensure the asset has enough reserves to see its capital needs over the next 20-30 years from the day it’s purchased or built. We oversee all insurance requirements for the authority, including insurance claims and property repairs.

Our capital needs projects are solicited in accordance with HAJC policies and funding source limitations.  The funding source limitations will dictate how the projects are advertised and what wages we follow; i.e. Davis Bacon or BOLI.   Examples of some capital need projects are:

Appliance Replacements

Heating / Ventilation Replacements

Door / Window Replacement

Exterior Siding and Painting

Landscape / Irrigation Upgrades

Parking Lot Resurfacing and Striping
